CoSign
Cookie-based single sign-on using Kerberos passwords. CoSign provides the University of Michigan with a secure single sign-on web authentication system.
Domain Name Registration (DNS)
Faculty and staff who need to register third-party top-level domain names for U-M can contact the ITCS hostmaster group. That group can register domain names in these domains and more: .org, .net, .com, .info, and .us.
Friend Accounts
Friend guest accounts allow people who do not have a uniqname and UMICH password to access U-M computing resources, including CoSign-protected web sites, that the resource provider has authorized them to access. You can also send Friend invitations.
