What if I forget my UMICH Kerberos password?

Many people forget their password at one time or another. If you forget your UMICH Kerberos password, go to the password hint page and enter your uniqname.

If the password hint doesn't help, you can ask the people at the ITCS Accounts Office to reset your password for you. Phone (734) 764-8000, Option 1, to request a password reset.

For Alumni Only

Alumni who are not faculty, staff, or a student and who do not subscribe to U-M Online can reset their password using the form for checking eligibility for a uniqname.

  1. Go to this URL: https://accounts.www.umich.edu/create/alumniassoc/

  2. Fill in the online form as if you were requesting a uniqname, then click Check Eligibility.

  3. You will see a screen that confirms your uniqname and gives you the option of resetting your password.
