We strongly recommend you download the anti-virus protection for your operating system. It's free to the U-M community and U-M Online (UMOL) subscribers.

Stay Current by Downloading the Blue Disc Software!

The Blue Disc pre-configured software makes it easy to securely connect to the U-M computing environment, ITCS services, and the Internet.

Previously only available on a CD, you can now download — at no cost — all the software. Select your operating system in the orange box above and login with your uniqname and UMICH Kerberos password. For more details, please read our news article.

HINT: If you have a slow Internet connection at home, download the software installers at a Campus Computing Site and copy them to a portable medium, such as a CD or USB key drive.

For those who prefer a CD, it's still available for purchase for only $8 (tax included).

The software for Windows supports Windows 2000 and XP.
(The antivirus software supports Vista as well.)

The software for Macs supports Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) through 10.5 (Leopard).
